Welcome to the Central Alabama Woodcarving Association, Inc. website!

Thanks for stopping by to learn more about us. We are a group of carvers based in Central Alabama area who have a passion for the art of wood carving. We are a 501(3)c non-profit organization.

The early method of carving wood required the use of a knife or chisel and mallet to cut the wood to get the desired outcome. We have come a long way since then! The art has grown to include the use of power tools to aid the carving process.

While wood carving is the focus of our club, you will find that carving wood is not the only thing we do! Are you interested yet? You’re welcome to stop by one of our meetings to check us out or just to say hello.

We are currently in the process of planning our Annual Southeastern Woodcarving School in July.  We start early.  We have great instructors.  We are also gathering items for our raffle/ auction.  It should be a really good time.

Our meetings are the 2nd Monday of every month at 7 PM.  We meet at the Jeannette Barrett Civic Room in Wetumpka, AL. The address is 297 Warf Street, Wetumpka.

See you soon!
